Can't fault it amazing place good people there very nice I loved it I suggest you should just get ear buds to sleep if the bands are playing on a weekend night if you don't like a little bit of loud music

Total nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Hostel ist einfach aber liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt gemütliche Aufenthaltsräume. Ideal, wenn man Kontakte knüpfen möchte.

Great Backpacker hostel. Really nice people and owner! Thanks for having me! The price is really low for the services. But to get a good night's sleep, I would recommend not to stay at weekend, as the window in my room, didn't close properly and the bar music is really loud

Absolutely loved staying here .. Double bedroom was very small but that didn't bother us. Bed was so comfortable I'd of been happy to swap it with my one at home lol Sheets and towels lovely and clean . Loved the feeling of the place and impressed with books and games at hand if you wished to indulge yourself. Toilets nice and clean Kitchen and laundry I didn't use . I will say there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the entrance. Loved the fact theres a bar/restaurant right next door that I was so impressed with. Would I stay again.... DEFINITELY

The location is perfect--right across from the beach and near many places to eat and drink. I usually stay here when I have to catch a plane the next morning. The rooms are very clean. The bathrooms are shared but they're always clean.

This is an excellent backpacker - even in a country where many hostels are really high standard, this one is a stand out. The owners couldn't be more hospitable and the roof terrace with stunning sea views is icing on the cake. I think improvements are in progress - so it will get even better.

The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly. The community rooms were amazing and full of nice people. It has carpets all over the place so if you go to the bathroom with socks at night you will feel like home. Plus there is a giant blackboard in the hall where you can draw stuff so yeah go there...

Wow! This place is the perfect location here in town. Right near the Puki Ariki and Coastal Walkway. Within walking distance of everything and free parking in the city from 5pm and on Sundays. I'm on a road trip around New Zealand and this was a great place to start my trip off in
